I m 50 year old and suffering from diabetic from 4 year and taking GLUCONORM G-2 and GLUCONORM G-1, bur its not intake regularlly from last 15 days i m feeling my left arm and hands bone are doing pain kindly suggest the proper medicine

Gluconorm G1(brand name) contains Metformin 500 mg ER + Glimepiride 1 mg.

Gluconorm G2 (brand name) tablet contains Glimepiride 2mg, metformin 500mg extended release.

Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin (a natural substance that is needed to break down sugar in the body) and helping the body use insulin efficiently. This medication will only help lower blood sugar in people whose bodies produce insulin naturally.

Conduct HbA1c test to know whether you are controlling blood glucose level satisfactorily.

You should take the medicine regularly as prescribed by your doctor. If you lower your blood glucose level, the pain in the left arm and the hands will vanish.
