Diabetes is a physiological condition and not a disease like typhoid which can be cured by medication. Therefore, you can manage it in a satisfactory manner by appropriate diet, active lifestyle and very importantly, managing your stress. You can,in most cases, use prescribed medication after clinical testing. With all the corrective steps that you undertake successfully,it may appear that the diabetes is reversed. But,please might come back with advancing age and any lapse in your part. That is the reason why it is said that diabetes can be managed but not reversed.By the way, your weight at 79 kg is way too high and may have contributed to your diabetic condition.Try reducing the weight by around 5 to 10 kg in a scientific manner to ensure that other complications may not arise.I think your diabetes will come down as you reduce your weight.Keep monitoring sugar levels and other health parameters regularly.

Nita is girls name in India.

Actual my name is mrinal

Teniva M contains Metformin 500 gm and teneligliptin 20 mg.

Metformin is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Metformin is in a class of drugs called biguanides. Metformin helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose you absorb from your food and the amount of glucose made by your liver. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood.

Teneligliptin is a pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to the class of anti-diabetic drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors or "gliptins"

Your Body Mass Index is 29. This is considered overweight. You should reduce your weight by diet and exercise.

Avoid or reduce carbohydrate, fat and oils from your diet. This will prevent atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases in future. Very few persons have reversed type 2 diabetes by strict diet and severe exercise. Generally speaking, type 2 diabetes can not be reversed but can be controlled.

Could you please explain how this was achieved, thanks.

Special diet or local medication or any other?

Mr Inal,

Do you understand all the response.

You need to look at your daily diet plan and reduce your grain food intake to reduce the weight and blood glucose control.

Try to eat about ground food, green leaf veg, no sugar intake, no rice. take a look at BMI chart and see how much you need to loose in weight.

Enjoy one life.

ok ,thanks

All carbohydrate is glucose to our body. Each meal, over a life-time you have consumed too much. It takes a real shift in your view of life to look beyond what your family, friends, neighbours, and the media do.

Get most of your energy from eggs, meat fats, olives, avocado, nuts, seeds, with some full-fat dairy and coconut. Greens are okay, but everything else has to be limited to bring your blood glucose and demand for insulin down.

God bless you.

Curb sugar cravings and reverse your risk of diabetes!!
