Fasting sugar is 75 but after 2 hours breakfast is 200 please guide me.
Post your diet.
morning i had 2 dosa and 1 boiled egg.My fasting sugar always 70 to 85 but my after 2hrs reading is 180 to 200 past one month since i started lantus insulin.before that my fasting was 170 to 200.
There are few possibilities....
1. Reading could be wrong.... What is yr normal FBS & PBS.
2. You might have forgotten to take the tablets or the right dosage recommended.
3. Breakfast different to normally taken. Pl note that sugar level varies depending on medication, exercise, food ....
I had a bad experience with dosa Plain dosa spiked 180 i hr for me well RS funda i still grabbing but Medfree i need to ask Rajma and daal usually carries Starch so will it imply on all Pluses or it act differently , i am not experimenting with my food though sometime back i had to travel i went easy with restrictions so base level is higher for a week or so 110 - 120 so i want to focus on well tested food but just for information does RS needs to be controlled with weighing it before eating it ? or carb contain is the criteria like we usually do ( i mean 20 g of carb in rajma example a bowl will still be criteria or in RS i can increase the quantity ? ) .
Alrighty will experiment with it ! Thanks .
Please stop taking Dosa.In its place add a bowl of veg. Soup with lots of cheese or butter. Then test your pp sugar.

You are having a very heavy breakfast. Have half of BF at 8AM and other half two to three hrs later. This will reduce your post Blood Sugar.
Lantus (brand name) Insulin glargine (generic name) is a long acting (basal) insulin. People every day count on once daily Lantus to help them lower their A1C and control their blood sugar. Instamet is afixed drug combination of Metformin (500 mg) + Sitagliptin (50 mg)
Sitagliptin is used along with diet and exercise and sometimes with other medications to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes (condition in which blood sugar is too high because the body does not produce or use insulin normally). Sitagliptin is in a class of medications called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high.
Metformin is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Metformin is in a class of drugs called biguanides. Metformin helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose you absorb from your food and the amount of glucose made by your liver. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood.
Triglynace (brand name) is a fixed combination of Glimepiride, Metformin and Pioglitazone.
Glimepiride is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin (a natural substance that is needed to break down sugar in the body) and helping the body use insulin efficiently. This medication will only help lower blood sugar in people whose bodies produce insulin naturally.
Pioglitazone is used with a diet and exercise program and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and therefore cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Pioglitazone is in a class of medications called thiazolidinediones. It works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin, a natural substance that helps control blood sugar levels.
Pioglitazone is a risk factor for heart failure and bladder cancer.
