what is ur height? Reduce ur weight according to ur height.Your weight should be 1 kg per feet of ur height.Once u reduce ur weight your dosage of insulin will be half. This can be done by switching to LCHF diet.Low carb high fat diet.Resticy ur carbs to 100 gms per day
my height is 5ft 8 inch but my question wheather BS IN BETWEEN 150 TO 190 FROM 11 PM TO 7AM IS OK IS UNREPLIED OR HOW IT CAN BE BRAUGHT DOWN TO 120 MG IN FASTING
as per ur height your wt should be anywhere less than 68 kg .you r 30 kg overwt .first try to Reduce ur wt. once ur wt is reduced all medicine u r taking will also reduce accordingly. For reducing wt best thing is adopt LCHF diet.Much has been talked in thos forum about thos diet .Search
your saying 1 kg per feet is not correct. It should be 1 kg per inch of height.I have the similar type of problem i.e. my fasting sugar is more about 143 mg/dl where PPBS is 110 mg/dl . I use to take 1/2 tablet Glynace MF 1/2 hour before meal.My height is 5' 9" and weight is 74 kg.
Dawn phenomenon, sometimes called the dawn effect, is an early-morning (usually between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m.) increase in blood sugar (glucose) relevant to people with diabetes.
Do not consume food at night. 12 hour fasting may lower fasting blood sugar level.
I have read the question, the responses & your repeat question. From those I feel that you need a detailed reply.
Being diabetic for 30 years, You may be thinking that you know a lot about the illness. But since I have cured mine in just three years (2006-09) it is felt that something MORE is known to me than you & your doctor.
Your blood sugar level is very high; it has to be brought down without much delay.
Did your doctor tell you that you are a type 1 diabetic?
There is some vagueness in your question. Is your insulin injection 100 X 3 times daily or 100 in a day ( say 30,40,30 or 33, 33,34 or something like that).
PPBS 150 is due to the effect of medicines & FBS 180-190 is due to the inability of hepatic insulin. Blood sugar above 140 after two hours of food is not good for health.
All the 30 years you were apparently on a wrong route. Now as you are nearing 60, will see unpleasant after-effects soon.
Your weight is much above limit; around 24 kilos excess of the maximum allowable.
The problem with excess weight is that to maintain it, body needs a lot of glucose metabolism; for that a lot of insulin is required. That much insulin can be appropriately be provided ONLY by pancreas & not by injections. That is your problem.
Now it is time for my prayer. Please ask me if you want to know more; will answer tomorrow if I am alive. Otherwise read my previous replies.
Mean while have a careful look at the following pages

I WILL LEAVE ALL THREE THINGS. BUT HERE IN UTTARAKHAND NO BODY KNOWS ABOUT LONG WHEAT BUT RAW WHEAT I S AVIALABLE. PL ADVISE WHEATHER THIS NORMAL WHEAT CAN BE TAKEN.
You need not leave anything for my sake, dear friend.
Long wheat is not NORMAL ORDINARY WHEAT. It has different names in different places, in India itself. Some names I could gather are listed in a table at appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... Name in different languages. Photographs of Long Wheat & ordinary wheat are at appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... Photographs etc.
At one time I was also suffering from the similar issues, High BS PP/Fasting and over weight.
I am also taking Hum insulin 40 u?day 24 Unit in morning and 16 units in Evening with 1 tab metfformin 500 mg Twice a day.
The main thing contributed in reducing the wt and control of BS is diet and lifestyle-----
1. Devi ding food in parts. I Take morning green tea with four marigold biscuits at 6.00 AM then B/F one chapati, milk and dalia/oats at 8.00 AM
2. Tea and biscuits at 11.00 AM then Lunch at 2.00 PM - 2 chapatis , dal and vegetables.
3. Tea and biscuits at 4.00 PM and then Dinner at 7.00 Pm again 2 chapati, dal and vegetables.
4. Go far a evening walk at around 8.00 Pm for one hour. Gap of approx 1 hour is required after dinner.
This has drastically helped me in controlling my BS Fasting/PP and evening walk has helped in reducing the wt to 64 kg from 79 kg in 8-10 moths.
My HbA1C is also varying between 6.2-6.6 in last 20 months. Whereas it was above 8.5 before that.
All meal is cooked with Olive oil in min qty.
A book named Zero oil cooking by Dr Bimal Chajer MD will be an asset for us people.
. the most important is following the doctor's advise closely. I have not taken any thing fried for the last 2 yrs. and interestingly my energy level is better than the earlier.
Just sharing my experience .... try to modify your schedule if your daily routine allows...all the best...
