Now my sugar level is normal but blood pressure is high

I male 57 height 5.5 wt 70kgs now my BS is 110-160 and Hba1c is 6.7.

But my blood pressure is increased since two month now 100-190.

I m using for sugar Gymet DS 2 tab daily,morning walk and food supplement occasionly.and for blood pressure Amcard 5 mg one tab daily after break fast I want herbal way Dont like elopathy.

You are having BP also and you should start taking BP Medicines after consulting a Dr. In the mean time, stop/reduce salt, pickles etc., Higher Blood Pressure is dangerous and do not take it lightly.



Please consult a good and MD-doctor for Blood Pressure to become normal. You may think of any other system of medicine later. Since ypu are diabetic you check up with cardialogist if you are given referance or ask for. Do avoid red meat and all substance with high Fat content(especially Trans fat -eatable made in oil deep fried and Rice especially high GI ones. and salt-use Low Na salt. Go to Jim for walk in Tread mill with advice from instructor and tell him your problems. This stage is right to effect a change in life style.

There is no herbal medicine for BP control. Do not trust any body use alopethic medicine otherwise you will be heading towards heart stroke. I my self using medicine since several years and seen the patients not using proper medicine in bad condition


do not change the treatment for Diabetes. For hypertension you can think of changing to ARBs. of course after consulting your physician. Do not be too anxious . Have dietary control and physical exercise..


According to Ayurveda high BP is result of metabolic disorder. You have to discontinue salt and salt intake for at least 45 days .

Water kept overnight in copper vessel should be taken in the morning which will help you to maintain metabolic systems of your body. I also prescribe some medicines for controlling High BP :

Take equal proportion of Brahmi, Sankhpushi and Jatamansi Churn , mix it well and take 2-3 grams of this churns every morning and night with warm milk.

Bramari Pranayam in morning will be very useful.

Brisk walking of 30 mins morning and evening is advised.

Oily, Spicy foods and sweets are restricted for 45 days. Please continue medicines as prescribed by your allopathy doctor , after regular intake of Aushadhies prescribed above with proper diet and exercise your doctor will reduce dose for BP . Keep regular monitoring of your BP once in a week.

Keep your wt less than 65 kgs which will help you to reduce BP.Also get medicine for BP Hypertension and sugar will not be comfortable
