I have observed that all medicines are not suitable for every body. Because 'body chemicals' are different to different people. For some simple medications will suit the ailments. For head-ache Amrutanjan may work for one person, Saridon for second, Vicks action 500 for yet another, Family doctors nondescript tablets will work wonders for some.

I can suggest you yet another wonder 'TINOSPORA CORDIFOLIA EXTRACT'. Search for this in Google. You can get wonderful research reports regarding this wonderful medicine. You can get this plant (vine) in you house compound, treat your sugar yourself without side effects. Also search in Youtube for "Wonderful cure for diabetics" a suryatv presentation to know more result of this wonderful plant.

Your targets of control should be Fasting- 130 mg/dl and PP-180 mg/dl [ADA guidelines 2012]. So dont worry, take a planned diet and do exercise like walking at least 30 mins per day and 150 mins per week. Please don't resort to those therapies that are not backed by scientific evidences and trials- India has come a long way to go back to some 'Black remedies"[ Kaala Jaadu}.Take your medicines regularly too.

Perhaps you have to go back to your Doctor who can prescribe some other medication which would work on you instead of Volibo or blisto. The bhindi & the methi could be continued. These 2 alone will not show results, they have to be taken along with the right allopathy drugs.

Deducting 20 from the value of reading ? Is this a foolproof method ?

Because glucometre is just for approximate reading

I am taking Okra( Bhindi) as a vegetable and 25 grams of Methi ( two tea spoons before every meals --breakfast, Lunch & dinner ) and with 16 units of Insulin morning & night . My fasting blood sugar is always 80--90 mg/dl. Today morning Fasting was 79 mg/dl. But I have difficult in controlling PP as it goes beyond 180 mg/dl. I wish it could be with in 140--160 mg/dl range? I will be able to control PP also.
