Basically sugar will be sugar always and naturally ripened fruits will have in great sugar so this may be the reason behind this.

But certain fruits like apple, guava, watermelon etc are recommended by the doctors to eat at a controlled manner.Non fibrous fruits such as mangoes, jack fruits & bananas are required to be avoided.

Banshakti: apple and guava are fine. Watermelon has very high GI. not sure if it ok with diabetics.

Our body needs the contents in various fruits other than sugar. Therefore, a controlled consumption of fruits keeping in mind the sugar contents and the self blood sugar level should be o.k. according to me.

Your decision is correct. A man should be concious to know the sugar content in fruit and what is the level of sugar in him.

Fruits in small portions definitely help. For example, half a banana, half apple etc., One can take vegetable and Tomato juices without adding sugar. The idea should be to help overcome hunger too. Suggest not taking them with regular food.
