Diabetes at 120

I am 65 and working in a very resposible position. My blood sugar on fasting is 120. I take glucophage 500 twice a day. Not much controle on fodd .Take fruits after lunch and dinner .

Do milde exercise walking most of the day.

Any advice to me?

Your fasting level is higher.Why not start controlling your food intake.It is never late and diabetes gets worse as you grow older. increajng medication at a later date is not a good option.

Have a good brisk walk daily for at least 2 km. Have a solid good breakfast to your liking (without sugar/sweets) and again walk 2 KM . Lunch should be light and so is dinner. you must have an evening walk also.

Consult doctor to take Galvus 50mg in th empty stomach in the morning. which should bring down the sugar level further.
