He was advised that it was to do with the bulking agents used to make the meds and after a few months of trying different brands he found glucophage xr worked for him without upsetting his tummy. 10 years later these symptoms have started again.

Last HB1AC done 2 weeks ago 73mmol and im currently on Glucophage SR 4 x 500mg Gliclazide 2 x 160mg Dapalflogozin 1 x 10mg and a weekly injection on Dulaglutide 3mg.

Could Glucophage be better?

I am interested in the weight loss opportunities of taking Glucophage aka Metformin, as to the best of my knowledge, I don't have (yet) Type 2 diabetes.

MY friend told me that recent studies on metformin aka glucophage has shown that it does cause kidney damage as well as diabetes, itself. This was news to me and i m feeling hesitate to take them.

Has anyone noticed any alteration of lupus with Metformin or Glucophage. I think that causes alterations to lupus

I am 53 years Male 68Kg . was diagnosed T2 diabetes in June-16 and on Glucophage 850 once+Galvusmet 50mg morning and evening. Effective Oct-16 Quit medicine and switched to 100% LCHF diet. Now My FBS and PBS range is 80-90.Lost some weight also.
