It's been a while...

Hi,

It has been along time but I still have my down days and of course good days. After what my husband did to me I'm trying my best to get there,I have a part time job, now back at college and passed my theory test so hopefully driving soon aswell. The hardest part was yesterday as my husband well soon to be ex wanted the engagement ring and wedding ring back which I think that's another part done with but still hurts. I still like to talk about my past even how bad it was I think it's better to talk about it rather hide it.

What sort of man wants his engagement ring and wedding ring back ? I ask you. In fact what sort of person ever asks for a gift back ? You are well rid.

Yes Iam I just Pity his new girlfriend as she will see what he is really like and he will reck another family.

Well it just goes to show how positive things can come out of negative situations, your bettering yourself now, passed your theory test, part time job etc, good for you, keep moving forward and use this experience as a learning curve, I'd say you've had a lucky escape, who would want to be with a guy who takes back something so personal as wedding rings? that sounds like a very heartless person to me, good riddance I'd say

Thank you for your comments. I have also found a nice man but I'm so scared of getting close to him as my past has been violence but I was completely honest and he is so understanding but it's that trust again and he knows I suffer from depression. I know I'm taking things slow but I don't know how to get past this either?I was with my ex for 19 years and 9 years married. Is it normal to still have feelings what happens if he hits me ect?
