Timings of medications

I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to take medication n supplements together at the same time (in the morning) coz if I don’t, I forget to take later in the day. Or is it better to space them out? Which supplements can be take together with dopamine to increase on time? I am on sinemet 100/25 tds, selegiline, zinc, vit d, vit b1, coq 10, SAME, resveratrol, mucuna, magnesium n pramipexole of which I take mg n pramipexole at night. I don’t take mucuna every day but for the rest, is there any ideal time? Like dopamine should be taken empty stomach before meals..

I think best best is supplements with food as they are supplementing nutrition and drugs away from food and supplements, unless of course they say to take with food.

Having said that some drugs have coatings that may dissolve at a very different time than you took them so they might end up dissolving as the food and supplements hit the system.

Slow release drugs presumably are being released over a longer period so I’m guessing it is less crucial when the supplements are taken. Look at graphs of how the drugs are released, half life of vitamins etc and you might get an idea of when things are hitting the system. But as everyone digests at different rates these are probably averages so you might have a different metabolism I think (guessing, not science here)

Take multivitamin or B complex 2 hours or 1 meal separate from Sinemet because B6 and Sinemet should not be taken together:

I moved vitamin D and B to take before bed. Good for sleep and turns out vitamin D slows us down apparently.

I had very good luck initially with pramipexole.( which I took for a couple years).

It restored my sense of taste and allowed me to walk straight rather than at whatever I was looking. All was well at a 0.375 mg dose.

The neurologist and I increased the dose since I have rigidity related pain and eventually I got swelling of the ankles and various compulsions and ultimately narcolepsy. It was extraordinarily hard to get off of it ( similar to heroin I was told).

I had to be hospitalized for two week ( bad any time but particularly during the pandemic).

So while the drug is miraculous (hence the name Mirapex) you need to execute with extreme caution. By the way once one of the dopamine agonists fail for you all the other 30 dopamine agonists are eliminated from possible therapies. Best wishes and let me know if I can be of further help.
