Blood Results

Good Morning,

Currently 28 weeks pregnant and under investigation for Chrons. Found out I was pregnant 3 days before I was due to have a pill cam. Colonoscopy found apthous ulcers and active inflammation in my TI in July of last year. All investigations on hold until I give birth.

I have just had a set of bloods and have had a few oddities come back. Calprotectin was a 208 (0-49) which is pretty good for me, it can be close to 1000 if in a flare.

Bloods wise the following came back out of range:

PCV 0.352 (0.360-0.470)

Neutrophils 7.2 (1.5-7.0)

Lymphocytes 1.5 (1.2-3.5)

CRP 9 (0-5)

Albumin 30 (35-50)

Ferritin 18 (22-275)

Any ideas?

Thanks

CRP is a measure of inflammation so is very slightly raised but nothing to worry about. Ferritin shows the level of iron stores in the body so yours is low. When mine was at a similar level, they gave me an iron infusion. Those are the only ones can comment on. Hope you stay well!
