Hi everyone, I'm very anxious and my anxiety is killing me I cry eveyday with this.

My mom started going to gym for about 6-8 months she stopped because she had hard cough. December 2018 when she first noticed that there's blood in her poo she said it wad red or brown in color, she went to doctor a bunch of times and was told it was because of her hemorroids (she has external grade 3) she was given meds for hemorroids but it didn't work she continue to have bloods and was going for 5-8 times a day in a loo the next year she was experiencing muscle pain specifically in her butt down to her legs so my dad decided to sent her to my grandmas and grandpas she did went to doctor there and was given a meds for ulcer and it also didn't stopped the blood that was coming out from her, she went back home she's finally getting better but there's still blood in her poo, she's going lesser in the loo not like 5-8 times with the urgency, her muscle pain was gone and she don't feel fatigue anymore like she used to. ( i really thought she was gettin better because she's drinking med herbs)

*she was referred to have colonoscopy but she didn't do it right away bc she thought it was just the hemorroids*

January 2020 she's still having the same symptoms of having blood in her poo, sometimes i does Color brown and sometimes she felt the urgency to have a bm but only blood cloots are coming off from her without stools. i don't see her crying but i know she cried bc the next day her eyes are swollen from crying.

We're now going to schedule her to have a colonoscopy

DOES ANYONE OF YOU HAS THIS SYMPTOMS??? WHAT WAS THE RESULT,??

It could be an IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) such as Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns and only a colonoscopy will either confirm or rule out either.

I suggest she has the colonoscopy as a matter of urgency and if either of these conditions are confirmed she will receive the correct medication.

I agree with previous comment, need the colonoscopy, will put mind at rest to have a reason for the problem.

Cook green vegetables for your mom and have her eat 6 small meals a day. I believe something is going in her body, but for now, while waiting, always talk to her so she wouldn’t feel the anxiety so much. It’s hard especially if you are not sure of whats going on inside.

I have UC and get these symptoms all the time definitely get a colonoscopy and also get your moms doctor to test calprotectin in stools and this will indicate inflammation levels within the bowel. Good luck

Yes a lot, rules are the same here however you can ask your doctor for a calprotectin test that way you can collect a sample pot from the surgery and provide them with a stool sample which they can send off to test to get an idea as to whether you have inflammation in your bowel.
