Hi I appear to have multi system problems. I have elevated faecal cal protectin 161 . Consultant wants to redo stool test and then MRI of small intestine.

I had colonoscopy a year ago that was clear but if it’s elevated he will do again.

I don’t know if I have chrohns or something else.

Is the MRI a horrible test ? I read about it and I don’t like the sound of it

MRI test is noninvasive can feel a little claustrophobic but test can be done fairly quickly. Hope you have a good outcome, any worries talk to your consultant they can explain test and what they are looking for.
