Hi everyone, I’ve just found this site and reading through so many similar stories to my own.
I have been having serious problems with stomach pain and spasms with bowel issues for 4 months. In all from December I have had 5 red flag referrals sent from my GP and an A&E doctor.
My symptoms are I physically can not pass anything solid anymore. If I don’t take my 5 laxido, 3 docusate sodium and a micro enima every day then the extreme spasms and pain are so bad I almost pass out. If I eat anything heavy I’m back in the toilet vomiting it back up within minutes.
I’ve had blood several times from my back passage, 2 very bad bleeds from my front lasting 3 weeks then 2 weeks since December so I was red flagged for a smear (which was fine), my bowel, bladder and cervix are all now prolapsed.
My urine has been tested 3 times and all have come back with blood but no sign of infection so I have been red flagged by Urology for a Cystoscope (still waiting).
My Calprotectin came back as 300 but that was the start of January and hasn’t been tested since. It was a doctor in A&E that give me my result when I had to go to hospital due to crippling pain in my abdominal and pain in my lower back and hips, I couldn’t even walk, my partner had to take me in a wheelchair. They done an X-ray of my abdomin and my entire intestines were blocked with feces (that’s when they started me on all the laxatives and said I must continue with these until I get sorted. She said it could possibly be Crohns?
My FIT test came back as 10 which I realise isn’t too high but the consultant that rang me about that said they consider it a positive result because their cut off for negative is 7.
I received a letter and prep along with a bottle of contrast dye. My appointment is in the cancer clinic for a CT Colonograpy on the 29th this month.
The waiting has been horrendous due to Covid, it’s so frustrating when you just feel so sore and fatigued all the time and just wait and wait.
Does anyone else pass mucus like this, everyone including my doctor said they’ve never seen anything like it? This is now at least a few times a week.
Thank you if you managed to read this far 😄🙏🌈
