Query regarding anticoagulant and CD

As anyone had problems with their CD when taking anticoagulant Edoxaban?

Have had several flare ups since changing from warfarin to Edoxaban over the last few weeks, but am told there can be no connection.

Just seems a strange coincidence.

If there seems to be a strange coincidence, then that is what it is, strange, and should be reported. Have you read the leaflet that comes with the drug? Was it prescribed by your GP or GI team? Have you asked your pharmacist about it? Personally, I would ask each of my consultants, and my GP, pharmacist, and if I still wasn't happy with the side effects, I would report it via the yellow card scheme, and demand to be re prescribed something else. After all it is your health and your life that is at risk, it is only their reputation that they are risking.

Many thanks. Have checked with pharmacists who doubts there is any connection, and have checked also with the specialist Gastro Team, who also doubt there is a connection.

But am monitoring the situation.
