Prednisolone Tummy

Hi all,

I was recently diagnosed with UC. Currently on a daily does of Mesalazine 2x 1.5g oral sachets. And on a course of Prednisolone, started at 40mg day, dropping by 5my per week until the 8th week, currently mid way week 3, so I am taking 30mg p/day. However, I have noticed that my tummy swells in the evening and it is quite uncomfortable, adding to that it is beginning to worry me a little. I suspect it is the Preds and was wondering is it just me... or is this just how it is... and it will lessen with the lowering dose?
