I was interested in this, and then realised one had to be able to "attend". In this day and age, with so much communication available, (skype, messenger etc) and the problems caused by people using cars/trains/busses, when not needed, why oh why, are you getting people to go somewhere, when it is not required. It also ensures that people like me, who are virtually housebound, can never have our say on very important issues.

Hi, as there are challenges in being able to fully participate remotely, we do offer support to help people attend committee meetings where ever possible. If this is something you would like to discuss please get in touch (janine.wigmore@nice.org.uk). For this guideline there would be two meetings to attend. Individuals can also contribute to the guideline consultation, which will be happening early next year. Best wishes, Janine
