I was diagnosed with mild crohns a few weeks ago, my symptoms are mostly in my mouth with constant mouth ulcers. Started entocort 2 weeks ago (been ok with side effects) noticed a slight improvement but i still have about 6 mouth ulcers. Should the treatment be working by now? Im seeing my consultant again in 6 weeks to discuss.
Would appreciate your experiences with entocort/budesonide.
Thanks

If you are having some success, albeit a limited one, why not carry n for the next 6 weeks, until you see the consultant, and mention it then? That is why they give you follow up appointments, so they can follow up on your progress.
Hi, I have used Entocort and it worked really well for me to get my inflammation under control. I had to stop as I have issues with my eyes, I have Crohns with strictures and Rheumatoid Arthritis
I can’t really comment much on mouth ulcers other than I got a few of those when I was on Methotrexate and they healed once I stopped that medication. I found gargling with salt water often throughout the day helped heal them.
