I had subsequent flare ups which were treated with Entocort and Olestyr (cholestyramine). I am presently dealing with a 4th flare up which started 5 months ago and is being treated with Entocort/Olestyr/Imodium without success so far.

After a year and a half of Prednisone, Salazopyrin and Entocort his levels shot up to over 6000 (literally off the chart). The doctor ordered another test assuming that it was a false positive but the result was the same.

Started entocort 2 weeks ago (been ok with side effects) noticed a slight improvement but i still have about 6 mouth ulcers. Should the treatment be working by now? Im seeing my consultant again in 6 weeks to discuss. Would appreciate your experiences with entocort/budesonide. Thanks

They are going to treat me with Entocort for 3 months. I am on one tablet of Euthyral a day which I take around 7am. How do I fit this Entocort in? Has anyone got this condition? She said she thinks it's also a autoimmune problem 😢 Thank you everyone x

Have to fast to lose weight, which was made worse by Entocort for Crohn's which I am now off of, but nothing has changed.

I have tried Asacol, Sulfasalazine, Entocort, Imuran, Remicade and of course Prednisone. I have only been hospitalized once, 3 years ago, with a partial bowel obstruction and was put on Remicade which ended up to be a horrible experience.

Rifamplin 300mg for itch and entocort steroids twice a day and now quinnie sulphate for my cramps .... has anyone used this before ? I'm stage 4 with cirrhosis /enlarged spleen & 2 varices just found last month. Dx with pbc almost 11 yrs now !

Im on Ursofalk and Entocort for PBC & AIH for a the past few months and have been feeling ok after the first couple of weeks. However, I started on Imuran about 2 weeks ago and ever since, my stomach feels bloated, I have indigestion, and feel sick quite alot.

Apparently it is uncommon to have both and I will be starting medication shortly Ursofalk and Entocort steroids. Anyone else out there in a similar position and does anyone have any idea whats ahead of me??
