just starting w8! never believed i was get this far and have to fight to the end!

Slight terror has crept in now as start W8 as found runs in W7 pretty tough and would will my way through the time. i really want to get to the end of this and run the full 30 mins or 5km

You can do it, trust the programme, distract yourself ( alter route, plan dinner!) and if it is getting bad ease back on the pace and you will make it.

Well done on making it to week 8, graduation is coming soon :)

Agree completely with amsjo on this one! You can do this: the plan has seen to it that your body can progress from week to week. I suspect that your stumbling block is in your head! Consider how in those early weeks you made mega adjustments in timed runs through the stages... In the scheme of things the increase between W8 and W9 isn't even enough time to boil an egg properly! Try changing your route so that you lose sight of the same place where you have stopped before at 28 minutes .... Maybe change to music of your own .... And just trot through this psychological barrier to graduation! You can do it :D Linda x

You are doing great if its worth having its worth fighting for. Just think where you started from and stop and take stock of what you have achieved. Belief in yourself I found sometimes the hardest thing on this journey. Legs will keep on moving brain is what tries to defeat you, the finishing line is right there in front of you power through it will all be worth it.

I am so excited ..... I did it!!!! thank you so much for your comments there's nothing like having to admit to a few strangers if you failed or not. 28mins running NON STOP. just 2 more to do this week. thanks again! :))

I don't think I had a good run on either week 7 or 8 and then on week nine it suddenly fell into place. The first run of that week I felt great and since then have basically been running 5k 3 times per week (that was a couple of weeks ago) - so don't panic! Keep going and you'll get there in the end.
