I just had the running gear on this morning- long sleeve top, running leggings, no coat or gloves. I felt quite exposed in the sense that people might have looked at me and thought I was a proper runner ;-). I think I may have had a bit too much breakfast before going out. Hard to know sometimes because I was hungry. I have to be honest, I wasn't feeling very inspired but I came on here and read the post and watched the video about the importance of half an hour exercise and it gave me the kick up the backside I needed. The run was slowish but I managed to speed up for the last five minutes. It did make me think about how far I have come, even as I felt a bit despondent about my general pace, because the idea of running faster for five minutes after running 20 slowly would have been unbelievable a few weeks ago. I did go a bit further though, so baby steps.

Well done. I've bought some running tights but not sure the world is ready for that yet! We have definitely come a long way - less than 2 months ago 8 minutes in 1 min block was sooo hard!
I know what you mean about feeling exposed! I've bought running tights, but have only worn them once so far - I feel much more invisible in my jogging bottoms somehow.
That run sounds pretty good to me anyway - anything that isn't really horrible is just fine! - and even the really horrible ones are still good exercise.
Well done Tati
I had completely the same worry today about feeling exposed - I normally run with a jacket which covers my tum and bum but felt a bit self-conscious today without it.
Seems the freezing cold weather did have its advantages!!
