Was in York for work today. Taxi came at 6:50am. Got home at 8pm and just had something to eat. Now dark.
Made me realise how little exercise I get some days. In and out of taxis to the trains and a 100m walk from the gate the the building the meeting was in was all I did.
There's always tomorrow.

Must admit one of the things this has shown me, is how immobile I am on many days! Even if I don't continue doing 5k every day at the end, I'm sure I'll be much more active.
That said, today's effort was ooooooooooooh! Didn't feel like doing anything, but forced myself to walk and run - but the run was the slowest I've done since before graduation (about 2 months ago) and I only managed 2k - and every step was a battle! And back to quite a bit slower than walking pace, and it wasn't hugely hilly. If I hadn't read some recent blogs about other people's horrible runs, I'd probably have given up altogether - it was hard to believe I've ever enjoyed running at all!
Probably I hadn't eaten enough, and I've been climbing up and down taking down wall displays and removing staples (3 hours of staple removing today!), and I think that may have caused the lead legs.
Hopefully the next one will be a lovely one - fingers crossed.
I have also found that exercise I have always done has become harder since starting the challenge. In the past I could swim 2km in an 57 mins. Now I can only manage 1km in 35 mins.....but at the end of the day it's still moving and counting towards the teams kms.
My W8R1 yesterday was also very hard, and my pace was almost like walking....but again I finished I hope tomorrows run goes much better
P.S. If you feel the need to make up for today, the 5x50 FAQs page states "As this is quite a long challenge we suggest you spread any 'missed' days over a week."
