yeah me!!! R1W1 and I did it!!

Phew after much procrastinating, I finally went on the first run of week one! Really enjoyed it, but need to sort out a route as my last two runs were up an incline!!! (not quite ben nevis but it sure felt like it!!)

big soak in the bath and healthy tea (ignoring the call of the wine!) yeah i'm a member of the C25K club at last!

Welcome to the blog and well done you for making the first big step (or run) into something you will find challenging and most rewarding.

There is lots of support and information here. Follow what Laura tells you and you will be pleasantly surprised at how much you can do.

Do you know, even though I'm now on week 4, still wasn't sure I could call myself a member of the club. I hope I can :D

It's an amazing feeling, isn't it, when you finish that run. Keep at it and enjoy.

Welcome Sofa-sloth and well done for completing one of the hardest weeks :)

I know it's difficult to do hills but if you can keep it up it helps you for later. See how it goes for your next run. Make sure you have some wine at some point this weekend.....you deserve it. Keep posting :-D

Well I did run 2 at the gym on the treadmill, and it didn't feel as bad as I thought it would. I have been dreading it all weekend! my shins are a bit sore and my hip aching but hopefully ice will sort that out!! woo onwards to Wednesday to run 3!!!
