Wk 2 Run 2 - Banana power?

Managed all of the 6x90 second runs this morning!!!! Felt much easier than Monday's run. Can't decide whether it was down to my increased althleticism (!) the pre-run banana (thanks to whoever it was whose blog advised that) or my snazzy new running socks with elasticated arch support! :)

Well done!

When I was at this stage I invested in new trainers an the shin splints went overnight -miraculous recovery :-)

not tried eating before a run tho scared I might get a stitch or even worse heart burn and indigestion

Probably all of the above! :D. Well done and keep on going. I think I read somewhere that bananas contain just the right minerals(?) to help build/repair muscles and stop cramps .... Whatever, if it works for you keep on bananaring too! LOL Linda ;) x

Well done! :) Whether it was the bananas or the socks, you are the one that put in the effort and did it.

Awesome job. :-) I always have a banana about 30 minutes before I go jogging also a glass of water

Keep at it. :-)

Well done! I'm a banana girl too, had one about 30 minutes before every run, as I prefer ro run as soon as I get up, whatever time of day that might be as I work shifts.

I've never had a stitch or heartburn so definitely works for me! :-)

Good luck for the rest of your runs :-)
