W9 R1 Can't work out why I'm so worried!

This week is week 9 and I have been looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. I usually do my first run on Tuesday but I couldn't fit it in this week so I should do it today. It is nearly 5pm and I need to get out there before it gets dark. I think I have mixed feelings because I will be sad to finish the programme; the structure really suited me and kept me going. I'm worried that I will let it all slip once I've done the 9 weeks.

Right going to finish my drink, get changed and go - no more excuses (I've been bulk buying Easter eggs this afternoon - avoidance tactics).

Welcome to Grad week! Enjoy it to the fullest! I think as a new Graduate, we all had concerns of if we would carry on without Laura/structure. The C25K+ podcasts are available or some just commit to so many times a week for a certain amount of distance/time. Do whatever you need to do to stay motivated and running. Good luck and waiting to read your Grad blog! Gayle

Oh, well done for getting out and doing it. I had all those weird feelings about the last week too. But I'm still running five-ish weeks later, and have signed up for the 5x50 challenge (see other posts), so I'm not stopping any time just yet!

Plenty of encouragement for graduates on here too, so keep blogging. :)

Just realised it's 6 weeks. Can't quite believe that. Total miles covered since mid December, including warm-up and cool-down walks, and a few other walks is 140. Total miles run - 70. I'm shocked! :o

So, thank you, Gayle, for telling me in the first week that I was now officially a runner. It really encouraged me so much! :)

Done it that's w9 r3 polished off. I've now downloaded the other podcasts to help with speed and distance though I might just do a week or two of straight forward 30 min runs just to settle in.
