Yep. There is far too much snow and ice out to make running outside safe, so me and my dad popped off to the gym!
It was very strange having Laura with me in a gym! I completed the run, however I wasn't doing amazing speed (I think I managed to do 2.5 miles in the full 35 minutes podcast), but to be fair I had my incline up quite a way.
I was sweating way more than normal but I guess that's because I was indoors.
I feel so much healthier than when I started, it's incredible!
I am extremely worried about running 20 minutes in just a week. I remember looking at it thinking that I would find it easy when I got to it because of all the training, how wrong I was!! I'm not finding the 5 minutes runs hard as such, but my legs are getting tired and it gets a bit hard to breathe by the end. Is this normal or should I repeat the week? I don't want to, but I really want to be able to do W5R3!
Wish me luck guys and hope you all had great runs!

Hi. Sounds like you're making fantastic progress. Your worries are quite normal - if you look back the posts, nearly everyone was in exactly the same state at this stage. But you know what? Nearly evryone makes the 20 minutes and punches the air with a mixture of surprise, delight and relief! You can do it too - just wait. And when you do, make sure you have a little treat standing by to celebrate ...
Agree with Malcy - if you can say "I'm not finding the 5 minutes runs hard as such" you are ready to move on. Just keep the same steady pace and you will be fine.
Tired legs and breathing hard sounds normal to me. You're doing fine, keep moving forward. You might want to skip the steep inline, though, if you end up doing W5R3 in the gym.
