Its my last week.. :-(

Whilst I am immensely proud of my achievement to get to week 9... I don't want it to end and lose the security of Laura.

I did my 1st of 3 30 mins last night and it went really well, infact remarkably well considering I hated week 8 for some reason.

I was elated when I completed the 30 mins with some left in the tank, it was tinged with sadness that I'm reaching the end.. do others feel this way?

So whats next? I dont cover the 5k in my 30 mins so Im making that my next target, any tips on how to do this?

I know just what you mean. Having Laura tell you what to do is a massive comfort blanket; I don't think I can manage without. I have downloaded the stepping stones podcasts and intend to intersperse them with a repeat of week 9. I am currently only covering about 3.5k in 30 minutes so I have a long way to go.

I missed Laura too. Didn't want to go 'cold turkey'. But there are the c25k+ podcasts to go on to. Also there's nothing to stop you using the c25k later weeks. I've done that and gradually lessened by dependency on Laura, so that I listen occasionally. Really does sound like an addiction. But that's what can happen with this running lark!

Enjoy Graduation week to the fullest! :-) It is bittersweet in a way... do whatever works for you, setting new goals, gifting yourself with presents...just as long as you can keep motivation up and continue to run consistently. :-) Gayle
