Had a wonderful holiday in Cuba, weather most of the time was lovely although we had what to us seemed like a mini hurricane for 3 days, never seen rain like it and the poor palm trees were almost bent double. Did a few early morning runs in my new Barefoot shoes but found the going tough due to heat and humidity.

Didn't run along the beach as hip doesn't like the sand but walked many miles of it with hubby during the long hot sunny days.
Looks idyllic. Hope the change in temperature isn't too much of a shock!

Are you going to join the C25K group on Garmin? It's really interesting seeing where everyone's running, mind you I'm still stck on my treadmill at the gym - but the snow is melting, if we get a nice dry spell now my woods should be ready in a week or so!

What is it like running with Barefoot shoes? I've read "born to run" and it's interesting what it says about this form of running. Can you recommend it. I'm on W5R1 at the moment, but I would really like to know about these shoes
