My first outing and I only ran 2 mins of the 8 but walked the rest..better than nothing. New trainers held up well though. I can highly recommend "The Running Fox" in Loughborough who provide gait analysis in order to ensure that I bought the best trainers possible for someone with a previously broken left foot and plantar fasciitis in the right.

I love your name! I bet within the next 1 or 2 outings you will be bursting with pride at what you're doing. Actually, you should be already because you're out there doing it. It gets better. Honest.
I'm better at biking. Did the London to Brighton last year which was a brilliant experience.
