Truly terrible....AGAIN!!!! I am considering re routing to avoid the hills that are cropping up darn them!!! I knew from word go it was going to be hard and I was right. My legs just didn't want to do it.

I did carry on til the end though and kinda limped home on the 5 min cool down walk. Feel crappy that I'm trying so hard but finding it so bloody tough, Why isn't it getting easier??

Also while I'm on a rant, Why am I not losing any weight? It doesn't make sense :( Rant over, as you were!!!!xxx

Hi my 2 runs in week 8 were awful but run 3 was as different again, You're doing really well, think how far we've come. I did week 9 run 1 last night and it was fine, honestly I still find it a bit of a slog it's still not easy, but hey I did it and if i can, anyone can I assure you. Re the weight, i'm not losing either but have noticed my clothes are looser. :-) Keep up the good work

Don't lose heart. I often feel like my legs aren't working too - I feel like I have to force them to move, and my 5 min walk home is always a stagger / limp. Brisk walk?! Ha! You will get there, I promise. x

I think I need to choose a flatter route but you can't really avoid the hills around here! :( xx

On most of my runs I've got hills of some sort....more like long gentle slopes if you are walking them which turn into mountains as soon as Laura says time to run! I've found a flat route (does mean doing the high street twice) but it did give me confidence that I can do the longer runs. Debate I'm having at the moment is flat or hills for tomorrows w7r2 run.

You are doing fab and I'd agree with groovychick I'm not losing as quick as I'd like either (although have fallen of the wagon a couple of times) but my trousers are definately looser!!!

Ohhh hills :(

The weight thing, no I've not lost anything but same as 'groovychick54' my clothes don't feel as tight..

Only yesterday I was looking with envy at my very keen running partner, he definitely looks like he's lost weight and has more muscle definition, not fair, but then he can run much much faster then me and travels at least 5x the distance if not more, but then he does have four legs and a very waggy tail !!!!!

:) :)

haha 4 legs hehe

with this running lark, it wont be long before you find that your bum cheeks start heading north again & those bits that wobble on your arms when you wave stop wobbling :)

I swear my bum's got bigger, caught sight of it in a window today and nearly died!!! :(

You did finish it though :) It turned out my husband had filmed me running near the end of one of my runs, don't know which week it was but it was hilarious, it looked like someone running in slow motion. In my minds eye I pictured myself running pretty slowly but not doing an imitation of a snail. Now I can see why my grandsons could walk in front of me :) It is definitely not about the speed. You are doing a brilliant job by keeping going.

oh my I can't believe he filmed you running - that's the meanist thing i have ever heard!

Seriously running for 28mins is amazing! Of course it's hard - you've done great to get to this stage and will only get better, stronger, faster and thinner! x

Shame he didn't film me the day I tripped over a bramble and fell into a muddy puddle.....could have got £250 for that, think of all those new running shoes I could have had :)

I yearn to be a lean mean running machine, Don't think that will happen but I am seriously hoping for less wobble-age and more toned firmness . Boobs are heading south and butt cheeks ?? I thought you were only supposed to have two of those??!! I have four!!!! They need to go!! Anyhoo, I'm nearing the end of c25K and feel better for doing it so that in itself is a bonus :) xxx
