I got them from Aldi, but I've seen them called Compression socks lots of different types on Internet with a big variation of cost. A friend of mine split the muscle ( or something like that) at the base of his calf and he was told to where compression socks to help and aid recovery. Don't really know too much else about them. But they seem to help me.
I thought the same as you but did my W3R1 this morning and just took the 3 min runs really slow. During the first one Laura starts chatting and gives you some tips on running style and that helps distract a bit!
Thanks for the tip. I tried that last week and my legs hurt. It doesn't feel natural for me! My legs don't usually hurt when I'm running. I now have a really tight calf muscle which I think is down to trying the heel first landing!
Good luck for Monday. Laura breaks up the 3 minute runs with some advice which helped to distract me and get me to the end of the 3 mins. Keep going - the sense of achievement is great!
