VIVA THE PARK RUN!

Hi there

Just done my 94th Park run today......wht a beautiful morning and what a brilliant concept.over 300 people turned up at 9am on a Saturday morning.....amazing!!

hey betty yep.got me red shirt at 50 ill get a black one(hopefully) when I complete the magic 100!!

Oops, You'll soon be wearing the BLACK shirt. The red 50 shirt is just a dream for me, as I've only done 5 Parkruns so far, but as I'll be 50 this year, I'd like to get that 50 shirt while I'm still in my 50th year, which give me a year and 4 months, so achievable.

Doing okay...just nothing all that fantastic to blog about. We are in week 5 of our 6 week 10K program. Tomorrow will be 2- 30 minute runs with 1 minute of walking in between. You made me envious the other day when you posted about running in shorts. I am so ready for warm weather!!!!!

lol well we were basking in a positively balmy 9 degrees c today so the shorts were out...had to wear gloves though as me handies were cold!!

Before I left this morning, I decided no gloves. I am now nursing my little handies from a nasty fall on asphalt. After I gathered my wits again, I thought of you in your shorts with gloves. I should of remembered my gloves!
