3 weeks left to do....eek!

W6R3 done and dusted last night, bring on week 7! I'm stunned that I've got this far and still in shock that I ran for 25 minutes last night.

I'm finding that I'm struggling to settle into a steady pace, with each song I find myself trying to run to the beat so I am speeding up and slowing down, does anyone else do this?

Well done Khrissy, amazing feeling isn't it :-) , good luck for the rest of the programme.

I gave up trying to run to the beat in week 1. It was difficult to start with, I used to do aerobics classes and that is all about keeping the beat. I seem to be able to just run now and ignore the beat of the music, very occasionally we coincide but not often.

There are apps that will speed up or slow down the songs, just enough to give you a set beat, sadly the one that I have (called tempo magic) doesn't work with Laura's podcasts. I am looking forward to experimenting with it and a play list of my own now that I have graduated.

I just love it when it does coincide, somehow I feel like I can run forever and it's no longer an effort. I obviously need to compile a playlist of music with the right beat for me!

Nearly there, Khrissy! I've come to the conclusion that I seem to prefer running without music, just enjoying being outside (well, sometimes I enjoy it!). :)

I might try losing the earphones for a while on Monday and seeing if I'm better without music.

Hi Khrissy great news on completing week 6, I listen to my own music, it's basically all sorts etc etc, but I've found I still very quietly I admit, count 1234, 1234 on and on and on in the background like a metronome.

I think I stopped the speeding up and down as soon as I ditched Laura......sorry Laura.

All the best
