I try and run 4 days a week - Sat and Sun as they are non-work days and I can run in day light and also figure if I do these I'm 2/3 of the way there for the week.
Then I try and run Tues and Thurs - so mostly do 4 runs a week.
Do you have a set routine or do you run more ad-hoc?

I usually do Monday, Wednesday and Friday, though I am thinking of braving the park tomorrow for a very slow one so I should be ok to push on with the program on Monday in the gym, and hopefully will be able to start incorporating outside running into my routine.
I run Tuesday and Thursday and then do a Parkrun on Saturday, though suffering with a cold at the moment so haven't run for two weeks can't wait for running club on Tuesday I could never run two days without a rest I think my legs would hurt to much!
I'm another Mon, Wed, Fri person with the odd Parkrun added onto the Saturday. It fits in best with my other commitments plus I would possibly let things slip if I didn't have a routine.
Most running clubs run Tues and Thurs so I like to run these days as I tend to see more runners that way which I find encouraging plus I can fool people into thinking I belong to a club myself!! Then my other run is either Sat or Sun.
It is good to have a routine but at the same time need to be flexible due to extenuating circumstances. If I don't get my three runs in though I do feel miserable
I've just been running every other day, irrespective of which day it ends up on. Though I might vary it now I've graduated. I like getting out to run on at least one weekend day.
