Have one more run till week 9, but my quad is still bit sore. Very frustrating, hoping it will be OK for tomorrow and isn't that when the snow is on the way?
Oh after having 8 days off by Sunday would it be a wise move to run for 28 minutes or halve the distance?
Anyway fingers crossed

I think I read somewhere that a week off probably won't make much difference to your fitness (though that might be for more experienced runners, and without injuries in the picture). Maybe just see how you go, aim for half the distance (or whatever feels comfortable) but keep going if all is well?
I'd agree with Greenlegs, one week off shouldn't make too much difference to your fitness levels and was probably a good idea if you've had a niggle..
Obviously all injuries are different, so I'd play it by ear as you run (although you have to be honest as to whether you are in pain, or just bloody knackered :0) ). I'm not carrying an injury as far as I know, but have just come back from W8R3 and my legs told me from the first minute that they wanted to stop!
Yes I thought after just over a week of no running, 28 minutes might be a bit too much. It's gone from being stiff and having to put my leg up to a slight niggle when walking. So I'll see what happens tomorrow. Oh good luck with your graduation week! Hope to be graduating next week...
