Screw Shakespeare...

Well having failed to drag my bones out of the flat yesterday I thought I'd make up for it today and by gum, did I!

Set off thinking I'd struggle as I was feeling tired and irritable but knowing that I HAD to run tonight or I wouldn't finish this week by the end of the week (if that makes sense?).

Anywho, found that it was actually OK and even ran the 3 minute run uphill again. :)

Then I hit the final 5 minute run. It melted by with virtually no effort and (inspired by Fingalo) I decided I'd run on to see how much further I could go using the timer on my phone....

7 minutes later (yes people, 7!) I came to a gentle halt at a junction before walking back. In all I ran for 23 minutes, with the final 12 minutes solid!!!

Needless to say I'm now energized and happy :)

I should procrastinate more often!

Well done, it's all in our heads isn't it, if only to bottle the sweat of great fortune , then.......sorry couldn't stop myself.

All the best

Good job getting out there and turning "tired and irritable" into "energized and happy." Out of curiosity, what's this about Shakesphere?

Haha! My previous blog used Shakespeare as a form of procrastination - 'to run or not to run...' and I ended up not going. It feels like I've conquered both now :D
