Oh my goodness .... was so pleased I managed the 20 mins but having read around it seems week 6 is tough physically and mentally. Really don't want to fail now ....

Some people find run 1 of week 6 harder than the 20 minute one, but I don't think I did, maybe because I'd read about why it could be tough, so it didn't get me!

Bet you'll be fine! I am missing those walking intervals now (wk 8) - make the most of them while you still have them!

I agree with Greenlegs, reading about the week 5 20 minute run on here helped me prepare for it and I didn't find it as tough as I think I would have done otherwise. You can do it!

I finished week 6 today, it isn't as bad as you think, today's run was the one I was dreading (25 min) it was hard but do-able, just keep with it, the programme does work plus the support on here and the feeling when you complete is so very worth it.

You've done so well that there is nothing to worry about.

You'll do fine Lisa. Just go slow and take your time. Sometimes going back to intervals can stress our mind and body. Week 6 can be a wake-up call to some coming off the cloud 9 - 20 minute cloud. Back to reality of knowing we are getting there but we still have a ways to go. Week 6 was one of my worse weeks. I found I preferred the longer runs and intervals, not so much! ;-) I am currently doing a 10K program and I still find myself liking the long runs. Gayle
