Hi all

Well i never thought it would be a remote possibility that I would get this far but here I am😁

I really enjoyed my 20 minute run but found tonights interval running a tad tricky🀨

Not to be deterred I am looking forward to longer runs!

Its official I think I have caught this running bugπŸ˜€

Well done!!!! I am due to do the 20 mins a day before my birthday hahaha (help!) I am only on week two so I am sort of guessing but I imagine it's easier to find a rhythm and stick to it as opposed to stopping and starting. KEEP GOING! ALMOST THERE :D xx

I absolutely hated PE at school, not helped by the teachers being sadists.

Congratulations. I've just finished my 20 minute run. How the hell did I do that? Didn't think I'd get past week 1. This forum is so inspiring. Well done xx

Well done Smile23! Completed run3 of week 6 this morning myself. Thought I was useless but did better than I thought - well, according to Strava πŸ˜‚. We got this - can't wait to see that we both finished the plan πŸ‘

Well done! I’m on week 6. Done the first 2 runs so just ( I say just tongue in cheek) the 25 min run to do.

I found I had to really concentrate on going really slow especially on the 2nd 10 min run so as not to go too fast for me to complete it.

Smile23 profile image
Smile23Graduateβ€’ in reply toLdeP

I get that one but i am v naughty and need to see a visual improvement for my benefit. I realise that i will need to slow. I didnt realise how competitive with myself i could be. Is thst good or badπŸ€”

LdePβ€’ in reply toSmile23

I suppose if you can handle going at a pace that pushes you that’s great. I know I’ve got to take it slow and steady. I’m no spring chick πŸ˜‚

Smile23 profile image
Smile23Graduateβ€’ in reply toLdeP

Me neither! And i am definitely not fast. The same or even a second faster is all i need x

LdeP profile image
LdePβ€’ in reply toSmile23

Yeah I can understand that seeing any improvement no matter how small really helps and gives you a confidence boost.

I’ve run in the past and know I’m definitely slower than I used to be so am not looking forward to timing my runs because I know I’ll be disappointed. Maybe in a few weeks!
