I would have taken my hat off to all brave enough to run Saturday's Parkrun - - - - - but it was too darn cold!

I wasn't running but was doing a duty at my local Parkrun. To say it was cold would be a gross understatement. I had on two jackets, 2 hats, 2 pairs of socks, gloves and waterproof trousers over warm trousers. I would say that I walked about 10K and travelled 10M while standing stamping my feet to keep warm. Jumping jacks worked a treat when things got really bad. But do you know I wouldn't have missed it for the world. So to all brave runners out there, well done :)

Well done oldgirl! I am sure it was harder volunteering on such a cold day...at least running we got a chance to warm up. It was fab and great to be part of!

Well done to you too & all the volunteers that make it happen, especially when the weather is not so warm! :-)
