I have so far managed to do 99% of my running outdoors but the icy conditions of late have forced me on the treadmill! I get bored very quickly but managed to increase my running time to 35 minutes but that's all I could really stand before losing concentration.
Any tips?

Hi Walney, I run outdoors mostly too but with the snow forecast looks like I'll be making use of my gym membership in the coming days. I find listening to the radio on my phone helps with the monotony of the treadmill. Choose a station with a mixture of chat, music and news. Alternatively run at a time where there's something you like of tv and distract yourself with that. If I come up with any other ideas I'll let you know. Good luck
This is my experience as well. usually some dodgy music channel and I ahve to crank up my mp3 player to drown it out! Let's hope the weather improves soon.
Hi.. I run lots now on the tread mill. I find that having a different programme works for me... Ie..I use the hills programme on mine soothe machines gradient changes constantly..... Agree also that music is a must...... Keep on runnin'
