I've taken a peek at week four, my next run. The programme seems to begin taking quantum leaps. Having started very slowly, Laura now seems to expect a lot from me.
Just hope I don't disappoint her.......

The key is not to look ahead. Take each run as it comes i.e. when you press play on the podcast. And remember, it will still only be 30mins overall.
Norni- I feel the same - I am going to do Run 2 of week 3 tonight and the prospect of week 3 scared me but progressing onto week 4 - eeeekkkk!! I have never been able to run, I have no stamina so I am really freaked ha ha - think how good we will feel if we do it though- good luck / you can do ittttttttttt!!!
You'll be fine, honest! It took me longer than the 9 weeks to graduate, but I got there, and you will do too. Trust the programme and let us all know how you do
Just take it slowly, don't worry if you don't complete a run just try again next time, you will get there in the end. I have just completed run 1 of week 4 after lots of attempts but I keep thinking back to how hard I found the 3 minutes in week 3 and now thats the easy part. Good luck
Thanks so much for all your comments. It really helps and will help me stay positive.
Ooh Norni I'm going to start week4 tomorrow! We'll be fine, slow and steady, slow and steady Look forward to hearing how you get on.
Norni and Bexiboo - someone on here said that the strength of this programme is that it keeps scaring us! But then leading us along to do the things we thought we couldn't do.
Because we can do the scary things, if we let ourselves try (even if sometimes it takes more than one go). Laura is very good at encouragement.
Almost all the scary stuff is the thinking about it, rather than the doing. Honest. (And I'm now scaring myself thinking about long runs again! Ha! It should be called 'the mind games running programme'.)
Yeah, you're right and to be honest I'm excited too. I like a challenge.
