First day, first run!

Was so inspired by everyone's attempts, particularly C25k, that I hit the road with my partner (previous runner of 2 marthon's some years ago!) last evening. It was hard and I thought my chest would explode - but we did it and I'm looking forward to run number 2 tomorrow. Hope I can manage to maintain the enthusiam of the other bloggers!!!

Well done you. You've made a start which is the hardest part.

I find that I have loads more energy since I started a whole week ago!

Good luck on your next run.

Well done, the start really is the most difficult I think. Although I've just completed 2nd run of week 4. I feel so much better and more energized, both mentally and physically, I think I have got the running bug. I really did not think I could ever do this, but I am absolutely loving it. Keep it up you will too

Congratulations on getting started! I hope you really enjoy the programme, supported by your experience runner partner. I think most of us start off feeling we might need a defibrillator nearby but the programme really does work and leads you to achieve things you'd never believe possible! All the very best with C25k, and Happy Running!
