As some of you know I had some lower back pain problems which lasted longer than usual, I get them from time to time and they usually clear up in two or three days, I was seriously worried that I was not going to be able to run and had niggling doubts at the back of my mind that I might fall back into my old sedentary ways. Anyway It's a gorgeous Indian summers day and I had a great run, pace was down a little and the last 5 minutes felt very hard but all in all I did it and feel better for it. Thanks to those of you who messaged me asking if I was OK, I felt really touched
Happy Running everyone

The King is back on the throne !!
You are a very important contributor on here my friend. You really do and will inspire those on their C25k journey and beyond.
Great that you got out there and anything is better than nothing. I've found being injured hard so make the most of things when I'm fit. Keep on keeping on my man. You've got loads of adventures still to write about.
I was wondering where you were! You have been conspicuous by your absence! Quite depressing when you get a 'bad' something - you do start thinking about the 'not running ever again' scenario. My knees have been bad ( I sound like an old woman ) the worst they've ever been in fact. I have arthritis in them but this time I knew this was something new. I've put it down to not stretching enough and in the right places so I You Tubed and have now decided to get some serious 'rolling' in. The body is a wonderful thing but when something goes wrong it's so difficult to know what is the right thing to do. Glad you're back - I have missed your posts - happy running!
PS Don't know if you've come across the Constructive Rest Pose in yoga - I find this helps to relax my back when mine is stiff.
