Hurray my new toy arrived today. I am now the proud owner of a Garmin 405 CX.
I hurriedly unpacked it ready to play.

Charged for 3 hours and downloaded software and some tracks for running whilst I was waiting. 3 hours passed and my new toy was ready to play with. Had a quick play, got changed and off I went. It was easy to use, connected quickly to the satellites and I could just forget about it. Ran for 25 mins today - pace 12 mins/mile, distance 2.09 miles. Got home and downloaded run onto Garmin connect. So easy!
Have also plotted a 5k route so I can start working on that. Website looks like it's going to be really useful.
Really chuffed with my new toy. So pleased I indulged myself. Can't wait to get out again.
