I have finished W4 and feel good but it was hard work. I bought some new
trail running shoes and will christen them on Sat at my local Parkrun, assuming
the exertion dossn't kill me
Great new year to everyone

Well done Ed. If my calf muscle doesn't heal soon you'll be overtaking me and getting to the end of week 5 before me
Hi Sian, sorry to hear you're still not running. How long do you think before you're running again?
Judging by the time it took to heal last time, probably won't be running again for another ten days. Kiss it better?
Blimey thats a while yet. I would love to kiss it better x
It's been about 10 days so far', and all though the pain has gone, I know from previous experience that if I don't give it about 3 weeks, it'll just go again and I'll waste even more time. I've got a sore throat and my breathing is a bit crappy at the moment anyway, so I'm just enjoying being pampered
Great job Ed! Welcome to week 5 and wishing you a successful parkrun with the new shoes! Nothing like running goodies to keep us motivated!!! Gayle
Hi Gayle thanks for that, i treated myself to a nice new running jacket too :-), Ed x
