Man this is good......

I had planned to run yesterday as we were going away to visit family and I knew there might be a sherry or two floating around :) Te run didn't happen as we were just too busy. So today, pretty tired from traveling, being up half the night and having sampled a couple of said sherry's I took off to do wk6r3 25 mins! I just told myself to relax, run and let GMT see to the rest. Being tired really makes a difference but it was still a good run. It's never easy but always possible. I am indeed becoming comfortable being uncomfortable and I love it!

Well done to all who are completing big runs this wkend especially those tackling the first few weeks, which I found to be the most difficult.

Hi Jems, i struggled a little with the first week but i am doing better now. I am only on W3 but this is the second time i have started the plan, the first time was Feb 2011 but i never finished it. This time around is much easier and in fact i did my 4th Parkrun yesterday. That was the first time i have done one without stopping, i was amazed! I like running with other people as there is always someone you can chat to and it takes your mind off your discomfort. Well done to you and keep going, Ed x

Hi Ed, yes I have seen in your blog that you are doing parkruns, that is awesome! No matter if you run, walk, crawl or do roly polys (that is sooo the wrong spelling lol) I still take my hat off to you as it is quite an achievement. This is my third or fourth go, I guess it all comes together when the time is right. Perhaps as you are running so well you could advance through the weeks and get finished, everyone is different and if you can do it then why not?

Wishing you well. Jems x

well done. 25mins is a huge milestone!!! I remember this run well. mine was in the gym, the morning after a curry & bottle of wine & I shouted "no" when laura told me 25mins. I thought it was gonna be another 20min run like week 5! still, proves that willpower can take you a long way.

good luck with the rest of the plan. graduation by new year???? :)

Yes, hopefully as I have really worked hard to stay on track and not miss any runs. Lol I bet it was the last thing you needed after wine and curry :) I can quite imagine. Willpower is the best and essential on this program. I have also banned negative thoughts as I think if I allowed one there would be gush! New year new me :)
