After a disastrous first date - I am motivated to finally start running now !! Just having my breakfast then will go out even tho it's cold - my dented self esteem needs it !!!!! Wish meluck!!Rachel

You'll be fine honestly, just take your time and then bask in the satisfaction of completing your first session! Good luck!

Well - I could not get the mp3 to play the rest of the first session - i suspect I just did not download it properly / So I made up my own run/walk session for an hour :). Any advice for beginners, apart from stepping out of the way of this serious lady runner who came up behind me !

Only thing i can advise you on is to simply take your time. The body takes a long time (months) to adapt so you need to be patient. Don't look to do a marathon for at least a year! Good luck, Ed x
