Although I am enjoying running to my own music now I can run for 25 minutes I do find I miss laura's prompts such as you have run for 5 mins, you have run for half the the time, you have five minutes to go etc just a little bit.

Does anyone miss laura's encouragement and prompts?
Hi Ebony - If you have a smartphone, you could try using the Get Running App. It follows the same programme as the NHS C25K but you can run to your own music. There is a lovely lady who offers similar type encouragement and prompts as Laura. She also tells you when you are half way through your run so you can turn round and go back along the same route - which I find really useful sometimes.
I have a blackberry curve although may be changing it when i can upgrade next september so will consider looking at this.
This is why I stuck with Laura, music and all. No smartphone here and I needed the encouragement that she gives. She took me all the way through to graduation and I still go back to her when it's wet and I have to go on the treadmill.
I'm with Beads - I stuck with Laura all the way through to week 9 and now I've done Stepping Stones with her as well. The music isn't all that I'd choose myself but it's only half an hour at a time and I can live with that! I looked at making my own Stepping Stones-like playlist yesterday (to increase the speed, not because of the music) but the important thing is knowing the beats per minute of the music- and while that's possible to do it's not a 10 minute job so I'm back to Laura again now,
I don't miss her telling me to land on my heels LOL
