Hello everyone! This is my first post since joining this forum.
Me and my mum started C25K 3 weeks ago. About to start week 4 run 1. Went out on Monday to attempt it but chickened out and decided to stop after 12 minutes of running instead of the full 16 minutes 🥴
Any words of encouragement for tomorrow?

Take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck.
Drink at least 2 litres of water or squash etc the day before the run. Slow right down. Get some nice music or an audio book if you run alone to pass the time.try to aim for the non gasping sentences whilst chatting together to see if you are running slowly enough. Good luck
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
You don't say why you decided to stop. Were you out of breath, muscles aching or just tired? All those can be addressed by following the advice in the guide but learning to run is also a hugely mental battle and you may benefit from reading the post about mental approach linked to in the guide.
To succeed you have to want to and believe that you can do it.............you can do it.
Hi zimaan, I've just read through the answers you've had, and I think everybody should read them when they have a wobble! You and your mum can do this! 💪
